My Review of Kidstir Subscription Boxes

Kidstir sends out monthly, themed cooking kits for kids. Each Kidstir kit includes three tasty recipes, an easy-to-read grocery list, kitchen utensils, fun stickers, and Wordstir Family Game Cards, and interesting supplemental information that educates kids on how to use their kitchen gift, background cultural information on the included recipes, etc.

What I Love about Kidstir!

Well-designed and Educational

I immediately fell in love with how kid-friendly the recipes were designed. The pictures of the featured dishes were colorful and appetizing. The recipe directions and grocery lists were clear and concise for emerging readers.

Kidstir subscription boxes are more than just something fun to do in the kitchen; they are educational. I was truly impressed with the life skills highlighted with their recipes-how to shop for ingredients, identifying the serving size, identification, and practice of cooking techniques. These are all skills that my older daughters have to use when participating in 4-H Food Show and Food Challenge Competitions, so I was pleased to see the thought that went into the design of the recipes.

Affordable and Dietary Conscious

Kudos to Kidstir for having affordable subscription boxes and single-order cooking and baking kits! The flexibility to purchase a single kit to try is fantastic. Additionally, I love that parents can choose kits to fit their dietary needs. Parents have the option of vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free kits.
